Manish Bhargava (Director/Founder)
Having worked in the industry for 18 years, Manish felt that the distillation techniques currently used in refineries and chemical plants need a fresh approach. This led to the inception of DWC Innovations which aims to bring the chemical and refining industry up to speed with the clean energy revolution happening everywhere by beginning at the root cause of the problem, i.e., distillation columns which inundate the industry. His previous experience in designing separation systems, engineering and operations gives him a unique perspective for modernizing the distillation industry.
He holds a dozen patents in several areas of distillation processes. Prior to this, he led the Advanced Separations group at GTC Technology based out of Houston, Texas. He has played a pivotal role in technology development and commercialization of Dividing Wall Columns. He has personally commercialized more than 25 Dividing wall columns. He holds a MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute Of Technology, Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur.
Manish Bhargava has extensive knowledge in developing process simulation, proposals, feasibility studies, heat integration and detailed engineering. He has worked with KBR, Houston for 6 years. The passion for optimizing plant operations and process solutions has won him accolades and respect in the distillation and absorption world. His innovative ideas and refinery solutions have been well received through articles and seminars in chemical engineering journals and conferences.
